This meeting will take place at a new venue, located just around the corner from our previous venue.
Please ensure you attend The Elan Hotel in Rhyader, not the Elan Valley Hotel, which is situated outside the town.
For a number of years we have not had a venue we can use for a trial in South Wales. This has disadvantaged anglers based in South Wales and we believe could have led to a number of anglers not taking part in the trials.
As an experiment in 2026 we are holding one trial on Chew Valley lake. We recognise that this means that one of the Welsh venues misses out on a second trial every third year but the alternative would be to reduce the number of trials to three which would have exactly the same impact.
We will review the impact of holding a trial on Chew next year and decide on the way forward in future years based on the outcome of that review.

WSTAA SENIOR INTERNATIONAL TEAM TRIALS ENTRY FORM 2026 THE ENTRY FORM, ENTRY FEE, AND AT LEAST THE FIRST 2 TRIAL FEES MUST BE SUBMITTED BY THE CLOSING DATE OF 28th FEBRUARY. THE 3rd AND 4th TRIAL FEES MUST BE RECEIVED BY 8th JUNE. LATE ENTRIES MAY FISH THE LAST 3 TRIALS, PROVIDED THE ENTRY FORM, ENTRY FEE, AND THE 3 REMAINING TRIAL FEES ARE RECEIVED BY MAY 25th. AT LEAST 3 TRIALS MUST BE FISHED.
